FREE DRIVING COURSES IN BALOCHISTAN

Balochistan Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority in collaboration with Motorway Police launched driving course program through out the province in two phases. BTEVTA was the financial supporter while the Motorway Police was the executioner. BTEVTA’s task was to monitor the progress before and after the completion of the courses.

In the initial phase, BTEVTA launched the courses in all districts and reserved seats for females in Quetta city. 250 candidates were trained out in the initial phase in a 3 month program and certificates were awarded by the Motorway Police in late 2016.

The process was initiated again in the early 2017 for the phase two of this program which was also completed successfully. Overall, 500 candidates were trained out in two phases from which 100 females were trained in Quetta specifically.

Apart from the certificates and training provided by Motorway Police, BTEVTA also provided Rs 3000 to each candidate over the course of this training.
